About the event

Food is a big part of why I love Thailand so much. From the bustling street-food markets to high-end restaurants, Thai cuisine never fails to amaze. The balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavors is an art form. Living in Thailand has allowed me to dive deep into both traditional Thai dishes and innovative fusion creations. Now imagine an expedition where you can let all your guards down and be able to eat absolutely EVERYTHING, free from worrying about hidden fish sauce, free from having to read labels or ask questions, this tour is about food, and it’s all Vegan. We’ll be visiting Thailand’s top Vegan eateries, focusing on Thai cuisine but also getting a good blend of other Asian cuisines and some western kitchens, and we’ll participate in several Vegan cooking workshops.

Our tour will take us to the bustling capital Bangkok, and to Thailand’s Northern region visiting Chiangmai, Chiang Dao, and Pai. You’ll get a taste of Thailand’s big city life, small town slow-life, mountains, waterfalls, hot springs and a good amount of time available for spiritual practices. We’ll have full busy days, as well as relaxed days dedicated to yoga, meditation and relaxation.

This tour happens during what's know in Thailand as Green season or rainy season. This is Thailand's low tourist season which means no crowds and no lines anywhere. Expect some rain daily, most days about an hour of rain in the afternoon and sunshine rest of the day. Average temperatures are typically from low to mid 30’s (°C) or mid 80’s to high 90’s (°F). This period is not right for everyone some days will get very hot and other days may get very wet. But if you can take the heat, and happy to avoid the crowds, this is the most beautiful time of year to be in Thailand - vegetation is beautiful lush Green, rivers are flowing and waterfalls are peaking. For me personally, Green season is the best time of year to travel in Thailand.

Included: Pickup and drop off at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, 12 nights’ accommodation in carefully selected 5-star hotels, all meals and all non-alcoholic beverages, land transportation in luxury vans, domestic air travel, all activities and entree fees.
