About the event

Food is a big part of why I love Thailand so much. From the bustling street-food markets to high-end restaurants, Thai cuisine never fails to amaze. The balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavors is an art form. Living in Thailand has allowed me to dive deep into both traditional Thai dishes and innovative fusion creations. Now imagine an expedition where you can let all your guards down and be able to eat absolutely EVERYTHING, free from worrying about hidden fish sauce, free from having to read labels or ask questions, this tour is about food, and it’s all Vegan. We’ll be visiting Thailand’s top Vegan eateries, focusing on Thai cuisine but also getting a good blend of other Asian cuisines and some western kitchens, and we’ll participate in several Vegan cooking workshops.

Our tour will take us to the bustling capital Bangkok, to the tropical beaches of Koh Samui, and to Thailand’s Northern region visiting Chiangmai, Chiang Dao, and Pai. You’ll get a taste of Thailand’s big city life, small town slow-life, mountains, waterfalls, hot springs and a good amount of time available for spiritual practices. We’ll have full busy days, as well as relaxed days dedicated to yoga, meditation and relaxation.

This tour happens during Thailand’s winter/peak tourist season. Average temperatures are typically from low 20’s to low 30's (°C) or high 60’s to high 80’s (°F) with little to no rain and bright sunny days. Being a busy tourist season some tourist sites, hotels and restaurants visited during the tour will be more crowded, so advance booking is more critical for this season.  With Thailand being a tropical country, there's a reason why winter season is so popular; tourists especially like coming to Thailand during this season when the weather is most moderate.
