About the event
I was born and raised in Israel and the food unique to Israel and the Middle East has shaped my experience as a chef over the years. Israeli food is a vibrant fusion of flavors, shaped by centuries of cultural exchange and immigration. Drawing from Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, North African, and Eastern European traditions, it features fresh vegetables, herbs, grains, and bold spices. On this tour you will experience Israeli and Middle Eastern cuisine in a safe Vegan atmosphere. Feel free to drop your guards and experience our carefully crafted culinary celebration that is 100% cruelty free. From chef-lead cooking workshops, to upscale Vegan restaurants, to selected street-food tastings, expect a culinary celebration like no other.
Israel is a uniquely captivating destination, offering an extraordinary mix of ancient history, diverse cultures, spiritual significance, and modern innovation. Nowhere else can you walk through streets that date back thousands of years and just hours later, relax on a Mediterranean beach or explore cutting-edge tech hubs. Our tour will take us to sacred sites central to Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. We will float in the Dead Sea, hike in the Galilee, and explore desert landscapes. In Tel Aviv we'll soak in the vibrant cosmopolitan vibe, nightlife, and beaches, while in Jerusalem evoke reflection and reverence. Despite its small size, Israel offers immense diversity, blending old and new, tradition and innovation, spirituality and adventure. This dynamic contrast makes it not just a place to visit, but a place to deeply experience.
This tour happens during Israel's Spring season. Average temperatures are typically in the 20's (°C) or 60’s to low 80’s (°F) with little to no rain and bright sunny days. You'll get to participate in the festivities of Israel's 78th Independence Day, travel through lush green sceneries and blooming spring flowers, and all while avoiding the high tourist-season in the Summer. Daytime temperatures will allow bathing in the Dead Sea and possibly Red Sea, while the Sea of Galilee and Mediterranean ocean water might be a bit on the cool side.
Included: Pickup and drop off at Tel-Aviv's Ben-Gurion Airport, 10 nights’ accommodation in carefully selected 4- & 5-star hotels, all meals and all non-alcoholic beverages, land transportation in luxury minibus, all activities and entree fees. I will be personally leading this tour, joined by a licensed English-speaking Israeli guide.
NOT included: International air travel to and from Tel-Aviv, and mandatory travel insurance. Tips to guides and drivers are optional.
For those looking to stay in a single private room, there will be an additional charge of US$950 per person
